    1. Nowadays, the mayority of huanuquenian people include this native product in their daily diet, but as it i not so promoted we have designed this project in order to foster cushuro consumtion, through some estrategies; such us informing huanuquenian mooms about cushuro´s nutritional value or putting some phamplets. Thus, I am certain that the "cushuro" is going to be good acepted at least in Huanuco society.   2. It's an interesting and creative idea. I've never thought about cushuro like a juice. I'm surprised about all the benefits. Nevertheless, I would like to know about the price.

    1. Hello Gloria, first of all thank you for commenting on my blog answering your question according to Dr. Augusto Aldave Pajares in his book "Algas toda una vida" the cushuro´s kilograme costs in the marquet is between 3 to 5 soles. However, it contains a 30% of protein, in contrast with the quinoa and kiwicha that have 15% of protein and a kilograme of those costs 14 soles approximately, it does not has a acceptable demand. Hence, we can analize which one suits the most for us, in order to carry a healthy diet. Finally, I would like to point out that we ought to nationalize our stomach.

  3. Nature is wise and our body is a perfect machine that reacts directly to every element we introduce into it. We are what we eat and very often our mood, our health and even our thoughts are conditioned by the food we carry.

As Hipócrates said, "may your medicine be your food and your food be your medicine" (Hipócrates), moreover I had not had an idea regarding Orthomolecular Nutrition which says that we need to be aware what we eat, that sounds magic. On that way, it is wanted to promote healthy development in our life and why not in our home.
      But, in spite of, the great food hydrobiological resources of our nation, numerous Peruvians still suffer malnourishment. Then how can we reduce this rate? Congratulations for your project, I really like your initiative of promote cushuro's comsuption since this natural food is being forgotten in spite of its great nutritional value of carbohydrates, proteins and lipids that help to our body. Also, I think that you could propose more creative ways to get children consume cushuro maybe some flashy desserts or foods althought I liked your idea of do a fair where people can attend to buy this product and would be a interesting proposal for children who are the most agog with this.

    Hi Maria, your idea with this project is very interesting since the cushuro is not very well known to all Peruvians, however with this plan they can not only help the children of the hospital with the proportion of cushuro but they would be making them leave A problem as common as anemia is, it is also very interesting that they want to market their product at a fair which is so common, but it would be interesting if they proposed more referrals from Cushuro to reach the population more.

Hi Laura, an excellent initiative, that is what our population really needs today, according to the alarming indexes of bad eating habits, because there is currently a greater preference for fast foods which are consequently not healthy at all, many times produced by ignorance of the same population. I also believe that we need in our society these types of projects with which we seek to promote and provide more information about the products that our community produces and set aside some stereotypes, providing us with information on ancestral foods such as “cushuro”.   9. hello laura, first of all congratulations on the great work they did, I really love that idea of ​​juicy cushuro, a traditional meal based on the cyanobacteria known in our country as cushuro, because this cyanobacterium contains many beneficial properties for our health and It would be very good to eat it in our daily diet and not only in Holy Week that normally only in those times we are accustomed to eating. For my part from now on I will put into practice and eat more the cushuro, fatty until then.
